Frontiers in Tropical Diseases is a collaborative and multidisciplinary journal publishing cutting-edge research on the pathophysiology and control of diseases that occur solely or predominantly in tropical regions of the world with a focus on integrative prevention, control and treatment methods as well as the challenges associated with them in the most vulnerable populations.

Frontiers in Tropical Diseases is a collaborative and multidisciplinary journal publishing cutting-edge research on the pathophysiology and control of diseases that occur solely or predominantly in tropical regions of the world with a focus on integrative prevention, control and treatment methods as well as the challenges associated with them in the most vulnerable populations.
By bringing together international input across all disciplines of tropical medicine involving clinicians, parasitologists, entomologists, infectious diseases specialists, epidemiologists, policy experts, health economists and medical anthropologists in one place, we aim to provide a comprehensive and open access platform on the latest research in tropical diseases.

The specialty sections of Frontiers in Tropical Diseases welcome submission of the following article types: Brief Research Report, Case Report, Classification, Clinical Trial, Community Case Study, Correction, Curriculum, Instruction, and Pedagogy, Data Report, Editorial, General Commentary, Hypothesis and Theory, Methods, Mini Review, Opinion, Original Research, Perspective, Policy and Practice Reviews, Policy Brief, Review, Study Protocol, Systematic Review and Technology and Code.
When submitting a manuscript to Frontiers in Tropical Diseases, authors must submit the material directly to one of the specialty sections. Manuscripts are peer-reviewed by the Associate and Review Editors of the respective specialty section.
